Dr. Sadiqa Babar · MBBS
Many practitioners remain devoted to the discipline in which they were trained, rarely venturing beyond its familiar boundaries. Dr. Sadiqa's journey has been one of continuous seeking. Trained in Allopathy, she never allowed formal education to define the limits of her understanding — it became the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of healing rooted in knowledge, reflection, and faith.
Her primary specialty is Bariatric (Obesity) Medicine, practiced since 2009. She seeks to understand the deeper imbalances — metabolic, emotional, behavioural, and spiritual — that underlie obesity, allowing healing to arise from the root.
She is both a medical doctor and a homeopath, and draws upon Tibb-e-Ahle-Bait (Islamic Medicine) to guide patients through preventive healthcare grounded in prophetic wisdom and natural balance.
"The human being cannot be fragmented. The body, mind, emotions, and thoughts are inseparable."
Credentials & SpecialisationsEach approach is chosen with the whole person in mind — body, mind, and spirit.
Evidence-based weight management through modern medications, dietary and lifestyle guidance. Treating metabolic, emotional and spiritual roots of obesity since 2009.
Allopathic precision in diagnosis, homeopathic insight in treatment — gently, without suppression, addressing illness at its root and the whole person in their entirety.
Preventive healthcare and natural treatment grounded in prophetic wisdom — guiding patients through the ancient science of Tibb-e-Ahle-Bait and Unani tradition.
Palliative relief for joint disorders through ozone therapy and supportive injections. Hijama — a time-honoured Sunnah used for prevention and localised treatment.
Space to reflect on stress, grief, anger, and unresolved emotional states that may be expressing themselves through the body — towards inner alignment and healing.
"The human being cannot be fragmented. The body, mind, emotions, and thoughts are inseparable, and illness often emerges where inner discord exists."
Dr. Sadiqa BabarIn 2015, Dr. Sadiqa began The Living Verses — a website and YouTube channel started as a personal initiative to better understand the Qur'an, later made public with the intention of reflection, learning, and sharing.
Through this platform, she explores Qur'anic themes as living guidance — relevant to thought, emotion, health, and the human condition.
